Gatherings - whether spontaneous or orchestrated- are often spaces of negotiations, where bodies, intentions, behaviour, and gazes meet together.
The exhibition shows four moments of “togetherness”. Power emerges in the distribution of space and voice through tensions between public and private, formal and informal, intimacy and agency. These works explore architectures of both community and individuality, inviting us to reflect on what it means to share space, time, and attention in a culture shaped by surveillance and disconnection, yet still seeking visibility and access.
The works invite viewers to consider the ethics of presence and the politics of participation. In moving between the public square and the private room, the exhibition asks: What does it mean to be together today? And how do the spaces we gather in shape what we reveal, conceal, or perform?
